Will credit have and impact on the approval?

Yes, credit is the most important factor to getting you approved for the apartment.

I have bad credit can you still help me get an apartment?

Yes we can, we have landlords that will accept clients with bad credit history.

What is the required credit score to get an apartment?

Your credit score should be over 600,If your score is below 600 because of pending collections that have not been paid, your application will be denied.

What if my collections are paid and my credit still falls below 600?

We might still be able to get you approved for an apartment as long as you show proof that your collections are paid, ultimately the decision will be based on the landlord.

What are the income requirements to get an apartment?

The income will always be calculated as 40 times the rent of the apartment, for example an apartment going for $900.00 will have a  required income of 36,000 ( 900x40=36,000).

I have been to court with a landlord for repair issues, would that be a problem?

Yes most landlords will automatically deny an application for this. However there are some landlords that will overlook it, not all landlords share the same qualifications and requirements.

I checked my credit and saw a non-payment on my report what does it mean?

A non-payment means that you send the rent payments late more than once causing the landlord to start eviction proceeding. Even if the eviction process was canceled because you send the rent payment it will still impact your record.
